Olde Realms

I'm a self taught sculptress. My sculptures are one of a kind, made in my own method. My inspirations derive from mythology, fairy tales, female Celtic warriors and female assassins, resulting in a diverse range of characters.I first see my creations in my minds eye, and have a clear vision of what the finished piece will look like. As the sculpture evolves, slight changes might be made, as I'm dealing with mixed media bodies. When the piece is finished it is an overwhelming feeling of gratification, to see months of work finally come to life.

I would like to be known for being original.
I sometimes incorporate lighting into my pieces. I don't sleep much, I'm a nocturnal creature, my mind doesn't allow me to rest, I find it difficult with so many ideas rushing through all at once.

I love artistic photography of all kinds, and have recently been doing some photography of my own. I love dark art, it thrills me. Being in the company of ingenious, interesting, fiercely driven, passionate, talented and eccentric people, inspires me and fire all my senses.

I'm interested in the paranormal, and also in extraordinary inventions. People from another time and dimension fascinate me. I actually feel I'm not from this time, and feel uneasy and out of place most of the time. I'm intrigued by the unexplained and people who can,cant and try to explain it!
